Meet the Logical S-4: Your Perfect Weigh and Fill Solution

Revolutionizing Product Packaging: Logical Machines Model S-4 Weigh and Fill System

In the ever-evolving landscape of automated weighing and filling systems, Logical Machines stands tall with its Model S-4 Weigh and Fill System. A true industry standard that has set the gold standard for small and medium startup businesses.

Let's delve into the features, efficiency, and reliability that make the Model S-4 a workhorse in the field.

The Origin of Excellence:

Thirty years ago, Lee Minkler, the visionary owner of Logical Machines, pioneered the introduction of the first weigh and fill Scale system in the snack industry. Today, the Model S-4 stands as a testament to his creativity. The Model S-4 offers a reliable and economical solution for businesses in various sectors; from coffee and tea to nuts, popcorn, flour, and more.

Achieving Milestones:

Recently, a Logical Machines customer celebrated a remarkable achievement—1 million pounds filled with their Model S-4, showcasing the durability and longevity of this last-generation design. The system's robustness is further complemented by its optional Tabletop Model, adding versatility to its functionality.

How It Works

Efficiency meets simplicity with the Model S-4. The semi-automatic scale system transitions businesses from manual scooping to automation seamlessly. The vibratory feeder or feed pan moves bulk products from the supply hopper to the weigh hopper. Once the target weight is reached, the controller stops the feed pan and the product is automatically deposited into the container. This process, tested and proven over a million times, exemplifies the system's simplicity and reliability.

The Logical Advantage:

At Logical Machines, the commitment is clear: provide superior quality filling systems at competitive prices. The scales, designed for small to medium-sized owner-operated businesses, are not only efficient but also competitively priced. The straightforward design and latest manufacturing technologies keep costs low, with each scale proudly assembled and tested in Vermont, USA, using components from top-shelf manufacturers.

Anatomy of the Scale:

The Model S-4 comprises a supply hopper, a weigh hopper, a discharge system (funnel or chute), and an adjustable spout ranging from 0.5" to 3.5". The standard S-4 includes features like a self-adjusting controller, readings down to 0.10 grams, a controller range up to 75 lbs, and a 3.5 cu.ft. supply hopper.

With a compact footprint, the S-4 occupies minimal floor space, making it suitable for diverse settings. Specifications include a 135 lbs total weight, power requirements of 2 amps, 110 volts, and a one-year limited warranty.
